Tried and True - With a Twist

Heading out for a double date is always fun, but sometimes the hardest to plan what to wear! You don't want to show up too dressy or too casual, in fear that the other girl is completely the opposite. But relax, go with your gut - and if that fails, look for outfit inspirations for hours on Instagram and Pinterest until you feel like you've found the perfect look! :)

Whenever I can't decide what to wear, I always go for my safety black and white. I mean, can you really go wrong with this combo? Black and white is my go-to for casual, dressy, beach... anything!
When I was getting ready, I felt that my look was maybe a little too dressy, so I decided to add my favorite hat to tone it down just a bit. For me, in the summer, shorts and heels are my safety because the combination makes me feel longer and leaner, which is especially important for date night! Whatever your safety is, wear it and wear it well, it's so important to have those few items that you can always rely on to help you feel GORG for a night out!
Tips for getting ready for a double date night:
1. Don't try to compete - don't try to dress overly sexy. It honestly just makes everyone feel uncomfortable.
2. Be true to who you are - double date night is not the night to experiment with new looks that aren't you. Just be yourself!
3. Be comfortable - that's when you are the most beautiful! Relax and have fun!
4. If all else fails, just go for a LBD!

I absolutely love scalloped shorts! They are so fun and the line is unexpected but adds the perfect detailing to any outfit. Here are a few more pairs I'm loving:
