Fall Trend: Wood Watches

Scroll down for an exclusive giveaway!

Queue the yellow, red and orange leaves - and the OTK boots, suede jackets and pumpkin spice lattes! It’s officially fall here! Well, it snowed here in upstate NY today so that’s a little bit more than “fall” but I digress. I love fall fashion and this year, that has totally included wood watches!

I’m a fan of unexpected details. Arm holes in a sweater? I’ll take two! An exposed zipper on a dress? Yes please! So of course when I saw a wood watch for the first time I just fell in love. I picked one up that is actually wood on wood (or wood and maple as the website calls it), but it’s perfect to dress up or down! I love a women's watch that can double as a men's watch or is just super unique in general.

When it comes to selecting a good watch, there are a few things to keep in mind. Let's be honest a purchase more than $25 requires some thought people! Whenever I'm looking at watches I have a few things I like to keep in mind. For starters, comfort is key. This may mean more than you think, of course you want your new watch to be comfortable. But also, if you live in multi-climate temperates just keep in mind a metal watch can get VERY cold in the winter! BRRR! Also, you'll want something that can go with black and brown/ gold and silver/casual and dressy. It's hard to find something that can meet all of the above criteria, but wood watches might just be the answer to your watch-life problems!
